We introduced a QR code scanner for Operator, so guests can easily find their reservation without ever entering their confirmation code. We also added an option to the Reservation Module that lets you easily select if a cancellation fee should be applied to a shortened reservation.

New

  • Introduced a QR code scanner for Operator, so guests can easily find their reservation without ever entering their confirmation code. Guests will receive their unique QR code via email before they arrive, which they can then scan using the kiosk's built-in camera, for an even faster check-in.

Improved

  • Added a checkbox to the Properties tab of the Reservation Module, so you can easily select if  a cancellation fee should be applied to a shortened reservation. If you chose to apply cancellation fees by default in your stay settings, this box will be preselected automatically.
  • Improved how payment card updates are handled in Navigator. When a guest adds a new card, it will automatically become the primary card on their reservation, unless the card currently attached is virtual; virtual cards cannot be overridden, as doing so could lead to double charges.
  • Improved automation for virtual card payments—Mews now charges the full prepaid amount.
