We added a new field that allows you to input a customer's preferred language when creating their profile. We also improved settlement rules, so reservations created after the time of the settlement trigger are now processed automatically.

New

  • Added a new field that allows you to input a customer's preferred language when creating their profile, ensuring that all emails sent to the customer will be in the correct language.
  • Added a checkbox to Distributor that allows customers to opt in for marketing emails when they make their reservation.

Improved

  • Improved settlement rules to include reservations created after the time of the settlement trigger. For example, if a rate group’s settlement trigger is five days before arrival, a reservation made within three days of arrival will now be charged by the system automatically.
  • Updated the Operator kiosk to recognize QR codes from Booking.com printed confirmations.
  • Improved the design of the Reservation Module, making it cleaner and easier to read.
  • Added a Help icon to the Confirmation Number field in the Operator kiosk app, which guests can click on if they need assistance in finding either their confirmation number or QR code.
  • Added chat functionality to Navigator, so guests can directly report bugs to Mews support.
  • Updated the Aruban legal environment to include tax rate options of 6% and 15% for products.

Fixed

  • Fixed a bug that caused dates to be incorrectly formatted in "Invitation to Online Check-in" emails.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred in drop-down lists, preventing users from searching for a specific list item or scrolling to the bottom of the list.
