New Navigator - This week we're very excited to release our brand new Mews Navigator web application. In light of GDPR regulations, we've rebuilt the entire platform from scratch and given users much more control over their data. Navigator is packed with a bunch of great new features, such as an improved online check-in process, the option to request profile deletion, and a sleek new design. Users can edit their profiles and control exactly which properties their details are shared with. As guests complete their online check-in, they can update all of their personal data accordingly and send it directly to you (their accommodation provider), speeding up their check-in process upon arrival and ensuring that guests can simply relax and enjoy their stay. Navigator is a core project which will be continuously updated and improved as we add more features and functionality. Find it now at https://www.mews.li/navigator/.
Bills cannot be modified after closing - Users no longer have the ability to modify the address, customer, or company details once a bill has been closed. Furthermore, altering information within the customer or company profiles will not affect closed bills in any way. If you need to fix an address or the name on a closed bill, you can rebate all bill items simultaneously using our new "Rebate" function. Once all information is corrected, you can issue a new bill with the amended customer, company, or bill items.
Editable taxation date - The "Taxation date" field is now editable, meaning that properties can modify the taxation date on any invoice before it is issued. On the "Review and Invoice" screen, this field will automatically be pre-filled with the date of creation, but it can be edited as required to satisfy all your accounting needs.
