We introduced the Mews Identity Scanner, a built-in feature that's completely free; you can scan any travel document that has a Machine Readable Zone as long as the device you're using has a camera. We also added chat functionality to the ProductBoard portal to make requesting new features even easier.

  • Introduced the Mews Identity Scanner, a built-in feature that's completely free. When you create or update a customer profile, you can scan any travel document that has a Machine Readable Zone as long as the device you're using has a camera.  
  • Added chat functionality to the ProductBoard portal to make requesting new features even easier. Simply open the Help Center and click Request feature to see what we're currently working on or to chat with a live support agent about the features you'd like us to get to next!

Improved

  • Improved the look and feel of the date picker in Operator, making it even simpler and more intuitive for guests to use.
  • Added a new interval option for export schedules, so you can set up report exports that only include data from the rest of the current year.
  • Improved the Navigator check-in process by adding a summary of the reservation for guests to review before checking in.
  • Updated the Hotek key cutter settings, so you can create duplicate keys for guests that are staying in the same room but arriving at different times.

Fixed

  • Fixed a bug that prevented refunds from being processed when the attached payment card is disabled.
